The functionality Boot Snooze has to offer is divided into two parts. The first thing the application does is to reboot/restart your machine. The second thing the application does is to automatically put your machine on standby and automatically activate the hibernate mode. With a simple mouse click you can restart then hibernate or restart then standby your PC.

To get started with Boot Snooze you will have to download a small archive, extract its contents, and then run the Boot Snooze executable. That is all you have to do. You will not have to go through any setup procedure or installation process. And of course, that makes Boot Snooze portable.

The functionality Boot Snooze has to offer is very clearly presented on its interface. There are three sections on it:
Auto-login – enter your username and password and enable the auto-login function. Thus, when your machine restarts, you will be logged into your account automatically.
Options – enter a value to delay the restart/reboot process; enter a value to delay the hibernate/standby process after the restart.
Method – a button to restart then hibernate and a second button to restart then standby.

Using Boot Snooze is a very simple process. Click Restart then Hibernate and your PC will restart; after that the hibernate mode will be activated. Click Restart then Standby and your PC will restart; after that it will be automatically put on standby. A timer will count down and then hibernate or standby your PC.

Boot Snooze is freeware. Cons:
None that I could think of.

Pros

Boot Snooze does not have to be installed; and that makes it portable. The application’s functionality is clearly displayed on the interface. You can set a delay/timer. With a simple mouse click you can restart then hibernate or restart then standby. Boot Snooze is freeware.

Cons

ider making a donation to support the project. Boot Snooze works as advertised. Click a button and the application will restart and then hibernate or standby your PC.
